Our Administrator Resigns

The Administrator resigned in  late July 2010.  An Acting Administrator will be appointed to fill in until a new Administrator is recruited.

Gary Cox is our new Administrator.  If you haven't had the pleasure ... come on in and meet Gary. He has had his indoctrination from Rick Keefer and is now "in the saddle" and working hard!

Our Departing Administrator's Farewell Comments

It is with great sadness that I am writing my last newsletter. Tonya and I will be moving to Murrell's Inlet, SC on January 9th, 2010. We have been given a great opportunity and could not pass it up. It was a very difficult decision that we had to make. Both of us love the Moose Lodge and the family of friends we have had the pleasure of knowing in Leesburg. These decisions are always difficult when you see over the last few years what a difference the hard work and our dedication has made to our Lodge. We know that our replacements will continue to provide the best care and service to our members. I could never thank each individual because I don't want to miss someone. Everyone had a special something to Tonya and I. Remember what the Moose is all about, Family, Friends and those in need. Leesburg Moose has always been the Top with these beliefs.

Membership continues to grow. As you know, we have a Stimulus program for new members ... no enrollment fee until April 30, 2010. That means only $40 to join. Get your family and friends signed up today..

While we continue to get new members we need to all understand that we are a family lodge and that some language and behavior is offensive to others, so please be considerate of others and watch your language.
I hope everyone is enjoying the new Jukebox, the new company did a nice job of setting up the sound system so it works for everyone.

Colonial Downs has decided we did not do enough betting on the OTB machines so they removed them. If you have an open account simply go on-line to Colonial Downs and close your account. They will send you a check for the balance they owe you.
